2025 GA Legislative Scorecard
The following scorecard lists several key votes in the Georgia General Assembly in 2025 and ranks state representatives and senators based on their fidelity to (U.S.) constitutional and limited-government principles.

Senate Votes
1. Article V Convention: Term Limits
Would apply to Congress to "call a convention" under Article V of the U.S. Constitution for the purpose of proposing an amendment to set term limits on members of Congress.
2. DNA Collection Without Due Process
Requires the collection of a DNA sample from any person who is "arrested" for, not just charged with or convicted of, a "serious violent felony."
3. Preemption of Local Gun Control
Would increase the civil penalty from $100 to $50,000 for unauthorized acts related to the local regulation of weapons.
4. Reducing State Income Taxes
Reduces the state income tax rate to 5.19% in 2025 and to 4.99% by 2027.
5. Right to In Vitro Fertilization
Codifies a right for individuals to obtain in vitro fertilization.
6. Funding Government Schools
Increases capital outlay funding for public schools from $300 million to $375 million annually.
