2019-2020 ID Legislative Scorecard
The following scorecard lists several key votes in the Idaho Legislature in 2019-2020 and ranks state representatives and senators based on their fidelity to (U.S.) constitutional and limited-government principles.
This is our first state-level Scorecard; the selected votes may not be reflective of legislators' overall records. Their cumulative scores will change as we add more votes. Please check regularly for updates.

Senate Votes
1. Expanding Public School Bureaucracy
Expanding public school administrative bureaucracy in the form of creating a "School Turnaround Committee" in failing schools.
2. Banning Partial-Birth Abortion
Rewrites an existing ban on partial-birth abortions to make the ban enforceable.
3. Strengthening Concealed Carry
Lowers the age limit for concealed carrying of a handgun inside of city limits.
4. Fairness in Women's Sports
Prevents biological males from participating in women's sports.
5. Targeting Credit Unions
Changes regulations as related to credit unions, but not financial institutions more generally.
6. Expanding Warrantless Arrests
Allows police to make warrantless misdemeanor arrests on the supposition of criminal behavior, even if no criminal activity is observed.
