2023 IN Legislative Scorecard
The following scorecard lists several key votes in the Indiana General Assembly in 2023 and ranks state representatives and senators based on their fidelity to (U.S.) constitutional and limited-government principles.

Senate Votes
1. Removing Obscene Material from Schools
Would make it illegal for school libraries to disseminate obscene material, such as pornography, to minors.
2. Medicaid-Eligible "Mental Health" Services
Provides for Medicaid-eligible community behavioral health clinic services.
3. Public Health Commission
Defines "core public health services" for purposes of public health laws, provides that the state department may provide services to local health departments, and requires each local board of health to establish a local public health services fund to receive state funding.
4. Prohibiting Gender Transition Procedures for Minors
Prohibits a physician or other practitioner from knowingly providing gender transition procedures to an individual who is less than 18 years of age and aiding or abetting another physician or practitioner in the provision of gender transition procedures to a minor.
5. Carbon Sequestration Pilot Project
Introduces a carbon sequestration pilot project, allowing two carbon dioxide pipelines in Vigo and Vermillion counties.
6. Robotics Subsidies
Establishes the robotics competition program to provide grants to eligible robotics competition teams.
